Youth Ministry

A note to our Youth

So many things have changed in our lives over the past couple of weeks. Beginning with schools being cancelled, education learning is being done remotely. Church services have been temporarily cancelled. Youth Meetings are temporarily cancelled. Many are working from home. None of us ever thought this would happen. But it has happened and now we have to deal with it but what we want to remind you is that we don’t have to deal with it alone. We have to rely completely on GOD to help us through this trying time. GOD is good all the time. We are not in this situation alone. He has promised that he is always with us. While our lives have changed at the moment, Jesus Christ has not changed. Hebrews 13:8 tells us Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.

Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

For our Sunday School members, we recently finished studying Matthew 24 and we encourage you to reflect back on it and continue to read ahead the book of Luke 17 as this is where we will pick up when we meet again.

We will be postponing youth day. A decision will be made later as to a new date.

We love each and every one of you and we miss you very much. Just remember our GOD who created all is in control of His creation. Sometimes our faith is tested and that’s when we grow spiritually. We look forward to meeting again and growing together in God’s Word.

Love in Christ,

Jimmy, Tammy & Jamie
